Nick Hampshire who lives in Cranbrook, Kent received formal art training from a local artist and followed this with a two-year apprenticeship as a picture restorer. Nick specialises in Victorian art and artists and has diversified his own style of painting using his talents as both a restorer and artist using traditional techniques following closely in the footsteps of the 19th century artists. His use of colour is quite astonishing.
We are proud to offer Nick’s services as an oil painting restorer. He has undertaken this work for the last forty years. Previous commissions include restoration in churches in Sidcup and Orpington, private galleries and auction rooms.
He will undertake restoration of damaged, holed, flaking and dirty oil paintings. Free quotation and written estimates. No job too small. Transportation can be arranged at cost.
